Recovered historical report
After Uhud, the Prophet ﷺ went to the Jewish tribe of Banu Nadir to ask for help in paying blood money for two men killed mistakenly. The Jews pretended to agree but plotted to drop a rock on his head from above. Allah informed the Prophet. He left immediately and gave them 10 days to leave Madinah. They refused, and the Muslims besieged them. After 15 days, they surrendered. They were allowed to take only what their camels could carry. They left for Khaibar. Allah revealed Surah al-Hashr, describing their expulsion.
