Recovered historical report
During the Hajj, six men from the Khazraj tribe of Madinah met the Prophet ﷺ. They had heard from the Jews that a prophet was coming. They accepted Islam on the spot. The Prophet ﷺ sent Mus‘ab bin ‘Umair with them to teach the Quran. This was the first “Pledge of ‘Aqabah,” called the “Pledge of the Women” because it involved no fighting, only faith and morality.
