Recovered historical report
The Quraish responded with mockery, insults, and physical harm. They called the Prophet a liar, a sorcerer, a madman, and a poet. ‘Uqbah bin Abi Mu‘ait tried to choke him. Abu Jahl threatened to trample his neck. Once, ‘Uqbah dumped camel intestines on the Prophet while he prostrated. His daughter Fatimah cleaned him. The Prophet made du‘a against seven named oppressors, and all were killed at Badr.
