Recovered historical report
After Khadijah took the Prophet ﷺ to Waraqah, Waraqah said, “This is the Namus (Jibril) who came to Moses. I wish I were young when your people expel you.” The Prophet asked, “Will they expel me?” Waraqah said, “Yes, no man has brought what you have brought without being treated as an enemy.” Then revelation paused for a period. The Prophet ﷺ was distressed, even considering suicide. But Allah sent Surah Ad-Duha to comfort him: “Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He detested you.”
