Recovered historical report
The next year, the Prophet ﷺ led 2,000 Muslims to Makkah to perform the missed ‘Umrah. The Quraish evacuated the city and watched from the mountains. The Muslims performed Tawaf with raml (walking briskly) to show strength. The Quraish had said the Muslims were weak from Madinah’s fever. The Prophet ﷺ ordered them to walk swiftly. They completed their rituals and left after three days. The Prophet ﷺ married Maymunah bint al-Harith during this visit. The Quraish were humiliated but abided by the treaty.

meUus working lesson
The Muslims showed strength, not weakness. Even in worship, they demonstrated that Islam is a religion of dignity.
A lesson is not the same as historical fact or a religious ruling.
Reflection / For Today

Revisit context: Perception matters. The Muslims projected strength.
Working reflection: The treaty allowed only swords in sheaths. The Prophet ﷺ did not violate it.
Working practical step: If you feel ashamed of any Islamic practice, strengthen your knowledge about it so you can be confident.
Journey reflection: The Muslims left after three days as agreed. They honoured the treaty, and Allah honoured them.
