Recovered historical report
Allah sent a fierce, cold wind that tore down the tents of the confederates, overturned their cooking pots, and filled their hearts with terror. Hudhaifah bin al-Yaman was sent by the Prophet ﷺ to spy on the enemy camp. He crawled in and heard Abu Sufyan say, “Let us leave. The horses are dying, the wind is destroying us, and Banu Qurayzah have betrayed us.” Abu Sufyan mounted his camel and fled. The entire army disbanded. The Muslims woke to find the enemy gone. The Prophet ﷺ said, “No one will attack Madinah after today.”
