Daily Journey: record contact with reality, not a perfect streak

Recovered Level 01 methodology uses simple states—Done, Partial, Skipped, Reset—and a short daily reflection. DEPTH-07 keeps that honesty while adding Pause/Stopped states for capacity, uncertainty and safety.

One to three clear habits or actions—not a giant list

The recovered deeper-study route recommends a small number of specific habits. The broader Chapter 25 rule is even more general: do not worship activity. Choose the action that serves the current need and can be reviewed honestly.

Done / Partial / Skipped / Reset

Done means completed as defined. Partial means meaningful contact but not full completion. Skipped means it did not happen; record it plainly. Reset means deliberate re-entry or a changed version without erasing earlier days. DEPTH-07 also allows Paused and Stopped when continuing would be unwise.

Intention can be recorded without becoming a religious score

Historical HDCG architecture uses a Pen Protocol / Niyyah before a quest. DEPTH-07 keeps the useful question—why am I taking this step?—without scoring intention, measuring spirituality, or claiming that an app can judge sincerity.

Evidence can be tiny and still real

Evidence may be a sent application, prepared document, completed call, corrected page, saved file, one routine attempt, screenshot, receipt, note, or a clear decision not to take a risky action. Record what it proves and what it does not.

Reflection

Questions to sit with

  1. What one action matters today?
  2. What status describes reality without shame or inflation?
  3. What evidence should I keep?

One safe next action

Use the Daily Journey Record for one real day and one bounded action.
