Recognition ≤ Verified Contribution + permission
Record what was actually delivered, whether it was accepted or used, corrections, scope and duration. Recognition should be proportional and public only with permission. It must not silently create employment, equity, royalty, founding status, authority or qualification.
Moderation needs an accountable owner
A community should know who applies rules, what evidence is considered, what immediate safety action may occur, how privacy is protected and what decisions are available. A generic admin label or AI moderation claim is not enough governance.
Appeal and correction protect dignity
A moderation decision can be wrong or incomplete. Where appropriate, people need a route to ask for review. A successful appeal should correct current state without erasing the original decision record.
Safeguarding before sensitive groups
Recovery, distress, family, youth or other vulnerable-person spaces should not be opened merely because community software exists. Owner, moderation, privacy, escalation, response expectations and closure paths must be real.
Live With Ongoing Review is not an unsafe-interaction exemption
Public-safe informational content can stay live while review continues. Interactive community features create different privacy, moderation and safeguarding consequences. If those controls are not real, the feature remains concept/manual/pilot rather than being opened by a review note alone.
